TUDOR CAPUSAN - LEAD GUITAR
Tudor is not a house, not a ritzy Manhattan enclave, but a plain ol’ Romanian boy who plays the guitar. If his home town in the heart of Transylvania taught him anything, it was to kill with that extra ‘bite’ of his ferocious playing. His experience on the instrument started with a half-size acoustic, or what he likes to call a “souped-up ukulele”, and it eventually culminated with the common electric guitar. This epic journey was inspired by figures like Slash, Brian May, Steve Vai, Guns ‘N’ Roses, Alice in Chains, Megadeth, Pantera, and the classic rock icon Led Zeppelin. Tudor has taken the role of lead guitar in Palm, Turbulence, and rock and roll band The Situationist International. His latest collaboration with national act Sevenwiser inspired him, fueled his desire to play live, and fed his conviction in the futility of music-business-money-making. These three elements vital to a sincere and thriving New York City musician makes him blend seamlessly in the uncompromising FunkFace phenomenon, whose main objectives remain musical integrity and originality.
Where is he now? Currently Tudor went back to school to study Law!
